The Mechanical Products Series 17 is a high-amperage thermal circuit breaker designed for DC vehicle electrical systems operating in demanding environments. The Series 17 provides resettable overcurrent protection from 20 to 300 amps and is commonly used in work trucks, emergency vehicles, buses, marine systems, agricultural equipment, and liftgates.
The breaker protects wiring, batteries, motors, pumps, and power distribution circuits from overload and short-circuit conditions while allowing the circuit to be quickly reset after a fault.
