UL 489 Push-to-Reset Circuit Breakers
Smallest UL 489 Circuit Breaker -- MP Series 252 Series Circuit Breakers
Circuit Breakers in the MP Series 252 are UL489 recognized for branch circuit protection. As such, it is one of the smallest push-to-reset circuit breaker units available that is capable of withstanding a 5,000A short circuit while providing powerful security against hazardous fault currents.
Such outstanding performance allows you to specify the Model 252 push-to-reset circuit breaker in tight enclosures where high fault current protection is vital, thereby eliminating the necessity for other protective devices in series.
A distinctive characteristic of this push-to-reset circuit breaker design is its double-contact break, supported by the unique, saddle-shaped thermal sensing element. This configuration allows some models in this family to withstand short circuit conditions as high as 5,000A and continue to function.
